"Whatcha Say" is the debut single by American recording artist, Jason Derülo. It was produced by J. R. Rotem with additional production by German producer Fuego and heavily samples the song "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap.[2] "Whatcha Say" topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, becoming DeRulo's first number-one hit in the United States. The single charted high in Canada and the UK as well, becoming a top three hit.
"Whatcha Say" has sold over 2 million digital copies in the US, gaining an RIAA certification of 2x Platinum in the US. It has also been RIANZ certified Gold in New Zealand.
